About Day Board and Train Program
New puppy and a demanding work schedule? Newly adopted dog? Or, simply limited time to train your current dog? We have you covered! Instinct Canine's Day Board and Train Program is designed as an easy solution to train your dog. If you are new to Instinct Canine Training, we are happy you're here and look forward to getting you started on the right paw when it comes to training! Our Day Board and Train Program is an intensive four-week program where we train your dog at our facility, while you work or dedicate time to other matters Tuesday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm. This enables your dog to receive dedicated training time, while spending their evenings and weekends in the comfort of their own home and eliminates stressful overnights in an unfamiliar place. Your dog will also enjoy all the great benefits of our Day Play and Train Program (behaviour permitting,) while also providing dedicated focus time with a trainer who will work to train your dog to your standards of a perfect pet. Instinct Canine can customize the Day Board and Train program to address many behavioural issues (with the exception of aggression.) As a handler, you will receive bi-weekly coaching sessions up to 90 minutes with a designated Instinct Canine trainer. These coaching sessions are your time to learn what we are working on with your dog during the Day Board and Train Program, and teach you how to maintain momentum in their training at home. Spoiler alert: there will be some homework! |

About our Daytime Board and Train program
Instinct Canine's Daytime Board and Train program takes the time to see your dog as an individual and not just another dog amongst many. Unlike many dog daycares that have up to 30-40 dogs at any given day, we limit the amount of dogs we enlist to ensure they get the attention they need, and deserve! With a maximum of 15 dogs at once (a five dogs to one trainer ratio,) we are confident you will see the difference in the attention your dog receives. Daytime training is structured with appropriate play time, pack walks, one on one training, and mental enrichment games. We also include rest time with the pack (or in a crate/kennel as needed,) to ensure your dog is not over tired, or over stimulated. We make sure your dog's biological needs are met both physically and mentally. The Daytime Board and Train program is held at our air-conditioned training facility in Burlington. The space boasts an expansive 1,500 sq. ft. open concept facility with rubber flooring to ensure your dog is safe and their joints are healthy.
