Pack walks with Instinct Canine Training are a great way to safely socialize your dog in a controlled setting. This socialization is not about playing with other dogs, or even greeting other dogs, but more about settling into a calm and relaxed walk in a group. It is a great option if you are wanting your dog to experience more things and an excellent next step for dogs who have completed Reactive Rover. It's amazing how dogs learn from each other and pick up the pack energy.
When we walk, there will always be at least one trainer along who will help navigate and direct. Sometimes a walk will start off a bit spicy with some barking. That's ok! We have all seen it and will never judge. Your dog needs this! We never allow dogs to go "nose to nose" (face to face). Instead, we allow safe greetings if, and when, dogs are comfortable (we will show you how).
You should expect to walk for approximately 1 hour. It is a great time not only for your dog, but we humans enjoy it too!

A few things to note:
- Dogs must remain on a 6 foot leash at all times and under control.
- At the end of the day, you are responsible for your dog's behaviour.
- Walks are weather dependant. We will notify you in the morning (via email) if a walk is canceled. (generally we don't walk if it is raining, extreme cold or hot).
- The fee is $20 (cash) or $20+hst if you wish to pay any other way.
- You are responsible to pick up after your dog.
- Walks will start at the training facility and we ask you to please wait outside. There is a lot happening inside as we get ready with the dogs joining us.
