About Day Train
(Dayschool for Dogs - but better!)

Instinct Canine Training’s Day Train Program is an exclusive, structured daytime training experience reserved for our ICT Pack (those who train with us). This is not daycare. This is purposeful, professional training designed to build, maintain, and refine your dog’s skills within a consistent, relationship-based environment. This consistency creates stability. For many of our clients, Day Train becomes part of their dog’s routine lifestyle because consistency and clear standards allow dogs to truly thrive.

Working in partnership with the foundation your dog has built through our training programs, Day Train reinforces and strengthens skills through thoughtful progression, repetition, and daily structure.
Each stay includes:
• Dedicated one-on-one training time
• Ongoing skill maintenance and advancement
• Purposeful enrichment and brain work to build impulse control
• Carefully supervised small group socialization
• Structured, appropriate play
• Intentional rest to support emotional regulation
We are not a drop-off and free-play facility. Every interaction throughout the day is part of the training process.
With a daily capacity of 15 dogs and a 5:1 dog-to-trainer ratio, your dog receives individualized attention in a controlled, professional setting. After every stay, you receive a detailed report card outlining what was practiced and how your dog managed through the day.
Most importantly, we deeply care about every dog in this program. This is not just a service, it is our passion. We treat each dog as if they were our own, maintaining high standards while building trust, clarity, and confidence.
We welcome both occasional attendance and regular routines. Our pricing structure reflects our belief in frequency and consistency, the more regularly your dog attends, the greater the value and long-term benefit.
At the end of the day, you do not just pick up a tired dog. You pick up a fulfilled, balanced dog who continues to grow.

Important Details

Runs Tuesday-Friday, no unscheduled drop-offs please
Designed for dogs ages 14 weeks and older
Dogs are required to have their first two rounds of puppy vaccinations and/or proof of titering
Prerequisite: Participating dogs must have been trained or are currently training with Instinct Canine Training. This is a companion program to our group classes or private lessons.

The Instinct Canine Difference

Instinct Canine's Daytime Train Program takes the time to see your dog as an individual and not just another dog amongst many. Unlike many dog daycares that have up to 30-40 dogs at any given day, we limit the amount of dogs we enlist to ensure they get the attention they need, and deserve! With a maximum of 15 dogs at once (a five dogs to one trainer ratio,) we are confident you will see the difference in the attention your dog receives. Daytime training is structured with appropriate play time, walks, one on one training, and mental enrichment games. We also include rest time with the pack (or in a crate/kennel as needed,) to ensure your dog is not over tired, or over stimulated. We make sure your dog's biological needs are met both physically and mentally. The Day Train Program is held at our air-conditioned training facility in Burlington. The space boasts an expansive 1,500 sq. ft. open concept training area with rubber flooring to ensure your dog is safe and
their joints are healthy.
