About Instinct Canine Training
My name is Anna Marie Stewart and I am Instinct Canine Training. I am here to help address your training or behavior concerns regarding your canine friend and help build a deeper relationship with them. I have always loved dogs and it was only natural that I would end up on a road to become a dog trainer. But that isn't what makes me a great trainer. Almost every dog trainer will tell you that. What makes me a great dog trainer is my ability to connect with both you, the client, your dog and getting results. I have many years of experience observing canine behavior in a training kennel environment, handling dogs in veterinary clinics as an assistant and working as a dog trainer along side a highly experienced trainer in Burlington, Ontario. I have trained and owned several dogs through my life. Through those dogs I have learned what works, and what doesn't work. Each dog can present its own issues and there is no "one size fits all" approch to training. I know what it is like to raise a puppy (with my newest pack member, a Fox Red Labrador I call Keziah) to what it is like to bring home an adopted adult rescue dog. My most recent adopted dog is a mutt called Mia. She has been my inspiration and I'm only just starting to discover the deep, strong bond we can have with our pets when we train in a balanced manner. She has taught me so much. I am taking my passion of dog training to you as your personal dog trainer. With attention to your needs, I will assist you through obedience training, distraction training and behavior concerns. More often than not, a lot of our issues result in not communicating to our dogs correctly with their own language. Dogs communicate with body language and energy. They are always watching what our body is "saying." It's not hard to learn (infact you already know it!) and I will teach you to use both your body language and commands to be a successful handler with a well-trained dog at your side. The best part? You are going to have such a strong and deep bond with your dog. I can't wait for you to experience it.
